Contracts Manager with experience of Civil / Groundworks required in Rugby. You will be joining a family owned business who have been operating for over 60 years. The emphasis for this company is their client focused to delivering value for money quality projects. The successful Contracts Manager you will undertake the duties; - Responsibility for a single large contract or a number of smaller ones. You would also be the main point of contact for clients, site managers/foremen and sub-contractors throughout the project - Ensure that all work is completed on time and within its budget. - Management and supervision of an installation team and delegate tasks accordingly. - Project delivery, to programme and budget. Including providing regular budget up dates in meetings. - Driving improvements where possible in any part of the delivery process. - Liaise with merchants and Buying team to drive down spend to achieve maximum discount on all costed items - Ensure all projects are delivered without any QHSE incidents. - Liaise with Install Manager/foreman to ensure sufficient resources are allocated for all projects. - Highlight any training needs for your team. - Ensure all Company Policies and Procedures are followed at all times. - All orders need to be completed correctly and within sufficient times to the specification required. - Maintain daily records of progress. - Help to resolve any disputes which come up and identifying areas for improvement in the company's contracting processes. - Coordination of all facets of site delivery. As contracts manager you will need: - Previous experience as a contract manager in ground-works / drainage / foundation projects. - Experience in CESMM / NEC / JCT contracts. - CSCS - Up to date Health and Safety knowledge. - Ability to work under pressure. - Good people skills.

Structural Revit / CAD Technician to join the civil engineering teams in the Stoke on Trent. A multi-award winning environmental and engineering consultancy is seeking a Structural Revit / CAD Technician to join the civil engineering teams in the Stoke on Trent. The company currently employ around 500 people and specialise in providing innovative and practical solutions to their clients both within the UK and overseas. Working as a Structural Revit / CAD Technician you will: - Be a member of a team responsible for the delivery of a wide range of development projects. - Assist with the preparation and understanding of structural engineering drawings at all stages including concept, tender and construction. - Work with engineers to translate and outline engineering proposals to detailed design drawings, understanding the relationship between the project disciplines. - Manage the delivery of individual tasks or activities to programme and budget. - Take part in key project control procedures such as drawing issues and registrations. To be a successful you will have the following skills and experience: - A relevant qualification for e.g. HNC, HND, BTEC in Construction/Built Environment or equivalent. - Excellent communication and organisational skills. - Relevant industry experience, with direct emphasis on buildings and structural engineering. - Comprehensive working knowledge of AutoCAD. - Comprehensive working knowledge of R.C Detailing. - Experience of working with REVIT. - 4 years’ experience in a Structural Technician role or similar.As well as being a fast learner, with proven initiative to work within a team and have a personal commitment to work to tight deadlines.

Working as a Senior Civil - Structural Engineer you will: - Work with a team in the analysis and design of construction-based projects. - Work is generally office based with some site supervision duties. - Work on a mix of highway and drainage desing but may involve taking on different roles within the team. - Provide guidance and direction to other Engineers and Technicians. To be a successful you will have the following skills and experience: - A first degree and/or MSc in a related discipline. - Chartered or soon to be chartered - Good report writing skills and the ability to perform effectively within multi-disciplinary teams and possess the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. - Good working knowledge of highway design package (MX or similar) - AutoCAD proficiency - Good working knowledge of Micro Drainage, with some experience within the following sub-disciplines: flood risk assessments (including MIKEFLOOD software packages), sustainable urban drainage systems and surface water management schemes.

To be a successful you will have the following skills and experience: - A first degree and/or MSc in a related discipline. - Good report writing skills and the ability to perform effectively within multi-disciplinary teams and possess the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. - Good on site experience of civils and/or structural construction projects - A good working knowledge of Microsoft products ideally including Microsoft Project - Strong project management skills - AutoCAD proficiency - Civil Engineer – ideally good working knowledge of design software such as PDS or Civil3d along with Microdrainage experience. - Structural Engineer – working knowledge of design packages. Revit experience would be beneficial. - Broad experience in various sectors
